Cracow is the historical capital of Poland. The Old Town complex together with the Wawel Hill are on UNESCO's World Heritage list. Every visitor to Cracow should see Europe's largest medieval market square.
The Wieliczka Salt Mine (13th c.) is one of the world's oldest mining sites still in uninterrupted operation. The underground tourist route leads through a labirynth of galleries and caverns with unique sculptures, all carved in rock salt.
The Pieniny is very small but very picturesque limestone mountain range divided into parts by the Dunajec River with its spectacular gorge. Raft trips allow tourists to admire the most beautiful parts of the Pieniny Mountains with their peaks and precipies.
